(Source: NPR) - Charles Jackson was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2004, at the age of 50. He is one of several members of his family who have been stricken with the disease. This interview is his story, describing how he was introduced to Alzheimer's and the experiences he has had caring for family members with the disease and now dealing with this own diagnosis.
Charles explains: "I wish [my family] would try to understand that I may be a little different. There's a time there where I will forget everybody's name, but inside I'm still here. I'm still me."
